My opinion i thought Skinns was good, he can play well against manchester as the 8-7 win against Phoenix when Skinns held out for the penalty shoot out shows he is gd.

I felt there was to much pressure on r goalie for the most part, only the 4th goal in my opinion was his fault. And tht was over confidence rather then fear tht got the best of him for tht mistake.

Phoenix used similar tactics to MK which messed us up, we cannot compete against counter attacks and do very poorly against them. And the first 5 mins of most matches we always mess up, we always let tht first goal in whether against, MK, Slough, Manchester, Swindon, Sheffield and Peterborough r teams i remember scoring against us 1st. This needs to be worked on.

Now the plan I see, is if a team counter attacks us we shouldn't panic but play them at there game and use CA tactics back. My opinion is we need to work on playing against MK as Phoenix copied there tactics yesterday and it shows it works.

The right result really. Im a little fed up with Dean taking the blame for poor defensive displays but I guess thats the life of a netminder.

What annoyed me more was the hostile shouting and abuse at Joy. Niw this is my first season regulary following ice hockey and chose to do so because I am fed up with the football crowds shouting and abusising everyone and anyone. The thing that drew me to hockey - and guildford - was the family friendly atmosphere and respect that is shown by players, officials and spectators. The only thing I ask for from a game is that all the players try as hard as they can. We may win and we may lose but some of the things I heard being shouted towards Joy as ignorant at best and damm disgusting at worst. If anyone is really that outraged by the level of the officials in the EPL then can I suggest getting off your backsides and taking a course yourself and being on the ice for a game and see how many calls you get right.

Like you say yourself, you are new to the game, so probably can't see how bad she is!!!
So please believe those of us who have been coming for 15+ years. She is a shocking ref!

Shouting "ignorant" things in the heat of the moment is one thing, but nothing disgusting should ever be shouted at Spectrum. If anyone in the crowd swears, you MUST point it out to security who will have the person removed. Spectrum is renowned for its family atmosphere and it is up to all of us to maintain that.

Same here, yeh fair enough the last goal was a shocker, but it didnt cost us the game. When the team isnt scoring in a game it doesnt matter how many the goalie lets in. A goalie is always going to get look like the bad one when a team isnt winning. There are plenty of players in that game who were way below par but people dont notice, or comment on the fact players werent scoring. A goalies mistakes will always stand out more than a players, even if the players mistake was bigger! I stand by Skinns as my number one choice goalie

I think Skins was partially to blame as at least one of the goals went between his body and the near post again, 1st Manchester goal I think.

Manchester played the best, but I think the Flames lost confidence early on from the 1st Manchester goal.

though i also thought Skinns was to blame for 1 goal and i am a Mark Lee fan,i feel there has been too much negativity toward's Dean and as fan's we should be doing more to give him encouragement, for instance there has hardly been any praise for the superb save he made from Hand, yes he made 1 mistake at Romford which led to their only goal, but i thought up at Altrincham in the ot win,yes he made a mistake which led to a goal but other than that he was faultless. It also has to be said if it is either Dean or Mark in goal they are playing behind a weak defensive unit which is in urgent need of review come the close season and they have been making far more mistakes over the course of the season some of which have led to goals being leaked.

in a word no as in order to get over euro employment laws they added that to not be an import you had to play junior hockey in this country otherwise you are an import.
You can have as many imports as you can afford but can only play 4 on any given game.
